Target Beauty Box Review-March 2014
Target occasionally offers a beauty box or $5.00. This box sells out quickly due to the amazing price. Target sends samples of their favorite beauty products for us to try. The best part of this box, other than the price, is that you can see what is in the box before you make the purchase.
Here is the box:
First look:
What I received:
Toni & Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray 2.5oz (retails for $4.99)
This product is supposed to create hair full of texture and body and give you a causal beachy hair. I am excited to try this spray on my stick straight hair.
L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara (retails for $7.99)
This mascara lengthens and stretches lashes for a fluttery winged-out look. This is the most interesting mascara wand I have ever seen. I can't wait to give this a try.
Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo 1.7 oz (retails for $2.99)
This paraben free shampoo will absorb excess oil and give your hair a rejuvenating boost. This has a very nice clean, fresh scent. I welcome any travel sized dry shampoo to throw in my purse.
COVERGIRL Smoochies Sizzle Gloss in Date Night (not sold online or in stores, estimate $3.99)
This is a sheer shimmery gloss with a delicious tropical scent. It claims not to be sticky. It is incredibly sticky, which I don't mind.
Jergens BB Cream in Light 2 oz. (estimate $2.99)
This is a sheer, quick-drying formula that is supposed to deliver results in 5 days. A BB cream for my body...interesting. I will give it a try and report back.
Total Value: $22.95
Price Paid: $5.00
This box was such an excellent value. I am the most excited to try the sea salt spray and the mascara. I will definitely let you know when Target releases the next beauty box!
