Ipsy Subscription Bag Review-May 2014

Ipsy is a beauty subscription bag in which you receive 4-6 deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products for only $10.00 per month.  Once you sign up, you take a beauty quiz and specify the types of products you would like to receive.  I love a good beauty quiz. You also receive a makeup bag every month.  They are the perfect size to fit in your purse.

Ipsy also has a point system.  You can obtain points through referrals and product reviews and use them towards the purchase of full sized products!

The theme this month was Fresh Picks:

Here is the bag:

Really cute spring themed bag this month.  It is larger than most of their bags, so I am a fan!

This mask deeply conditions, restores, repairs and strengthens dry, damaged hair.  Check and check.  I need this.  It contains Argan oil and Keravis protein.  After the dry winter months, this product will definitely be put to use.

I don't have much to say about this one.  How excited can I get about sunscreen?  At least the packaging is cute.

Pacifica Mineral Eyeshadow Duo in Moonbeam and Unicorn ($8.99)

At first look, I wasn't too excited about these basic shadows.  Then I tried them on and I am in love. The purple tone has grey undertones that look great with the creme shade.   I put the purple tone in my crease and the cream on my lid with a little MAC Sketch shadow in the outer corner and lower lash line.  I loved the look.

I was surprised to receive a drugstore product in my Ipsy bag.  However, I loved it!  I love a good matte lip color and this crayon type applicator is great.  The color is richly pigmented and perfect for summer.

derma e Microdermabrasion Scrub-1 oz. ($16.25)

Oh how I love a good face scrub.  This microdermabrasion claims to help diminish lines, wrinkles and acne scars through gentle buffing. It has a nice citrus scent.  I'm happy to received this product and know I will get a lot of use out of it.

Total Value: $40.65
Price Paid: $10.00

I really liked this month's bag!  The bag itself is adorable and functional.  Other than the sunscreen, I know I will enjoy using the rest of the products.  Another excellent job Ipsy!  What was your favorite Ipsy product this month?
