Bloomingdale's Day of Beauty with Bobbi Brown 

My wonderful friends won a day a beauty at Bloomingdale's at a recent charity event.  The gift certificate included lunch at Forty Carrots and a makeover at Bobbi Brown.  Food and makeup?  I'm totally in.

First, we started off with lunch at Forty Carrots.  Forty Carrots is a small restaurant in Bloomingdale's at 900 N. Michigan.

I got a mini bottle of champagne that was crisp and perfect.

I then had one of their specialty salads described as a Mexican Cobb.  It was dressed with a spicy cilantro lime vinaigrette that was delicious.

We then went down to the Bobbi Brown counter for our makeovers.  I totally forgot to take before pictures which was a fail on my part.

Bobbi Brown has beautiful products that are timeless and easy to wear.

After trying out all of the wonderful products, I had to make some purchases.  Here is what I purchased:

Long Wear Even Finish Foundation in Warm Beige

This foundation provides medium to full coverage and is oil free.  I have been wearing it for about two weeks and have zero complaints.  I have fairly oily skin and this foundation controls it amazingly well.  It looks just like skin.  I highly recommend this product.  

Skin Foundation Stick in Natural

This product works as a tone corrector and cover-up.  I use this around my nose and on my cheeks to correct some natural redness.  It also works as an excellent concealer.  

Hydrating Gel Creme 

This is a very lightweight gel moisturizer.  I have worn this product for two weeks and it has changed my skin.  My skin is clearer and less oily than ever before.  My makeup glides on over this product and I have stopped wearing a primer.  Run out and purchase this!

Tinted Eye Brightener in Bisque

This is a lightweight brightening concealer.  It is great for your under eyes.  I also use it on my nose and in my cupids bow for brightening.  

Rich Lip Color in Lilac 

I love this lipstick.  It is creamy, long-lasting an highly pigmented.  It is a cool toned pink that looks great with my skin tone.  I can't wait to pick up some bright colors for summer.

Lip Gloss in Sailor 

This is a beautiful sheer bright pink gloss.  It has either been discontinued or was a limited edition product.  This is very wearable and looks good over any lipstick.

Hydrating Eye Creme

This is a lightweight long-lasting gentle eye cream that allows your concealer to glide on easily. 

I had such a wonderful time at Bloomingdale's.  The food was delicious and the makeovers were beautiful.  My artist took my out of my comfort zone and used a brighter blush and lipstick than I would have chosen. I loved the end product and thought my friends look beautiful!  Thank you Bobbi Brown and Bloomingdale's.
