Social Bliss Box Review – Paris is Always a Good Idea

Hello out there, this is Amy guest blogging again!!  Like Lindsay, I am a subscription box addict.  This was my first month receiving a new-ish subscription box called Social Bliss, and it most certainly won’t be my last!  The way this box works is every month there is a theme and you receive several fashion and beauty items the fit in the theme.  March’s theme is Paris…OUI, OUI!!!

For starters, this is the lovely packaging.  I enjoy a box that immediately makes me feel good about myself when I open it J

Now on to the reveal….

The first item is the “flourishing in florals” headband.  It is very cute and girly which is totally my style.  This is not something I would think to buy for myself,  but I see it as a cute way to pull  my hair back when running errands this summer in a sundress.  According to the pamphlet, Taylor Swift and Zooey Deschanel are fans of this look, so I will be in good company. It retails for $14.

This next item made me very happy to see.  I had mentioned to my friends earlier in the week that I needed some new make-up brushes.  Lo and behold, the subscription box gods were listening.   The brushes are from a company called Eco-Chic and the brushes feature bamboo handles and soft synthetic taklon bristles, and come in a natural cotton and hemp cosmetic case.   The product is totally cruelty-free so PETA will not be hating on me for this one. I am traveling this week so the brushes have been packed in my cosmetic case and put to good use!  The set retails for $25.

And finally…the grand finale of this box, the “Spring in Paris” Mattie bag by Melie Bianco!

J’adore this bag!  It is a nice blush pink (it also comes in ivory) and is the perfect complement to a feminine outfit. It is a soft leather and has impeccable detailing.  Check out the inside:

I can’t wait for spring so I can add this bag to my rotation.  I have a pink and white trench that this will look perfect with!  This bag retails for $80.

Overall, this box was a total win for me.  The Social Bliss subscription is $40 each month, and in this box the purse alone was worth twice that amount.  In total, I received products worth over $120 and I liked or LOVED them all.

Au Revoir!
