JewelMint is a jewelry subscription that provides irresistible styles at insider prices for $29.99 a month. First, you take a style profile quiz. Then, jewelry that matches your profile is placed in your showroom.

Your membership starts after your first purchase.  Each month you select one item from your showroom or the JewelMint collection.  You can skip the month as well.  If you forget to choose an item and forget to skip the month, a credit of $29.99 is applied to your account to use for your next purchase.  

Since I always forget to skip a month, I frequently end up with credits in my account.  This month I decided to try a mystery box from We Are All Smith. This box was described as: face the music this festival season with an artisanal jewelry surprise! We've selected three surprise pieces from Collective favorite We Are All Smith, perfect for all your field-bound looks.

Necklace # 1: Compass and Magnifying Glass

Well, it's a compass.  And a magnifying glass.  It is cheese-tastic.  I can't imagine wearing this for anything but a costume party.  I really, really don't like it.

Necklace #2: Evil Eye

Ok, this isn't awful.  I just don't love it.  It doesn't feel like a quality piece of jewelry and it is a little young for me.  I think you can wear it both as a necklace and a bracelet.

This box was not a success for me.  This might be someone else's style, but it is not mine.  I can't imagine wearing any of these pieces.  I think I will send this box back.  Overall, the JewelMint mystery boxes have been a fail in my opinion.  I have never liked any of the pieces I have received.  I should stick to my showroom from now on.
