Cherry Culture is an online beauty product retailer selling mainly drugstore products. In March they had a 40% sale and I stocked up on some of my favorite drugstore products. Here is what I purchased:
NYX Butter Glosses are my favorite glosses hands down. They are creamy and pigmented and taste/smell like buttercream frosting. Here are the swatches:
Left: Madeline-a perfect everyday nude.
Center: Maple Blondie: This color is more peach toned than is showing up on my skin. It is perfect for summer.
Right: Devil's Food Cake: This is almost a lip stain. It is a beautiful berry and has staying power.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream (retails for 6.00)
NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams are something between a lipstick and a lip gloss with a matte finish. They are moisturizing and last as long as a stain. Here are the swatches:
How great are these colors for summer?
Left: Buenos Aires: A pretty, pigmented peach.
Right: Milan: A bold blue-toned pink.
NYX Matte Lipstick (retails for $6.00)
NYX Matte Lipsticks are highly pigmented and long-lasting. I love that they have a matte finish. I don't like to be all glowy at work. Here is the swatch:
Sierra: This color is more orange on my lips than it looks here. Since orange is a trend for the summer, and I can't really pull it off, this will be the closest I will get to orange.
Milani Baked Blush (retails for $8.00)
I think Milani blushes are equivalent to any high-end blush. They are beautiful and shimmery without being full of glitter. There is a ton of product in this small compact and I reach for my Milani blushes almost daily. Here is the swatch:
Corallina: A beautiful coral shade that is so silky on your skin. You will not regret purchasing any of the Milani blushes!
